24 Hour Nursing

The Golden Palms Health Center is a licensed skilled nursing facility offering professional nursing care in a Christian atmosphere. You can rely on the Health Center for quality service from a kind and caring staff.

The 60-bed Golden Palms Health Center has accommodations for the post-operative and rehabilitative resident.

Health professionals, including registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses, and nursing assistants are available to assist each resident. Individual therapy programs including speech, occupational & physical therapy are prescribed by the resident's physician and adhered to by qualified therapists. Valley Baptist Medical Center and several physician/dentist offices are less than a block away.

In our pleasant dining room, residents enjoy tasty, nourishing, well-balanced meals planned under the supervision of a Registered Dietitian and expertly prepared under the guidance of the Dining Service Director. Special diets receive careful attention.

Social and recreational activities are encouraged to keep a resident as active as his health and physician will permit during the period of convalescence.

The resident is our first concern from the initial care plan of therapeutic and preventive services to the time of discharge. Emphasis is placed upon encouraging the resident toward self-care and independence.
