Set on 11 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds with lovely gardens and walking trails, Meadowlands Terrace is considered one of the premier assisted living and Alzheimer's communities in Eastern Texas. Located on the Brazos River, our community offers 70 apartments on two floors. Here our residents – in many cases, with their pets – enjoy country retirement living. Yet should you need a helping hand from our warm and caring staff, we also offer complete assisted living services, tailor-made to your needs. We’ve designed our services to focus on wellness, helping you maintain or improve your health, so you can live as independently as possible.

Our community also offers an innovative memory care program, Join Their Journey®, for seniors affected by Alzheimer’s or dementia. Because your family’s experience will be unlike any other, our goal is to get to know you and your loved one, so that we can offer support and solutions for your individual situation. We “join the journey” of your loved one by recognizing individuality, encouraging choices and allowing residents the dignity to live in a secure, personalized and familiar setting that feels comfortable for them.

New friends, new beginnings
Our common areas – including our lovely dining room, TV room, library and wellness center – give residents and their loved ones the opportunity to get to know one another, all within our homelike environment. We also offer a wide range of activities each month, including trips to Baylor University, the Texas Ranger Museum and the Dr. Pepper Museum. Meadowlands Terrace is located in a rural area, near Cameron Park, Lake Waco, Lake Whitney and the Brazos River. Yet many shops, restaurants and banks are located close by. Meadowlands Terrace is also convenient to Hillcrest and Providence Hospitals, as well as close to a nursing home rehabilitation facility if ever needed.
