Our community also offers an innovative memory care program, Join Their Journey®, for seniors affected by Alzheimer’s or dementia. Our common areas – including our beautiful sunroom and a dining room in which all seats have a lovely courtyard view – give residents and their loved ones the opportunity to get to know one another. We also offer a wide range of activities each month, including our active Residents Council and community outings to the popular Forbidden Gardens. While Memorial Oaks is located in a rural area, we are close to a professional beauty school (with hair cut prices of just $5.00 and up), Wal-Mart, the Dollar Store and Briargrove Park. Several medical facilities are also close by, including West Houston Medical Center, Memorial Herman – Texas Medical Center and a nursing home rehabilitation facility if ever needed.
