Sabine Oaks Home is a socially oriented home that provides many interesting pastimes for residents. The full-time Activity Director encourages participation in regular group exercise, reading club, celebrations of special days, and games; including Bingo, Skipbo and dominoes.
Newspapers, for those who subscribe, and coffee are delivered to the residents in their rooms each morning. A continental breakfast is provided for those who like to sleep in until 10:00am. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served in a large, pleasant dining room. Mid-morning and mid-afternoon snacks are also provided.
Weekly church services, a Bible class, musical entertainment, slide presentations, television and movies give residents a number of opportunities for fellowship.
Residents contribute to the smooth operation of the home through a Residents' Council. Members of the Sabine Oaks Auxiliary assist with activities and provide special friends for each resident. The Auxiliary sponsors a monthly birthday party as well.

Sabine Oaks Home is a non-profit home set on beautifully landscaped grounds. We offer assisted living care for those who are no longer able to live independently. The home is governed by a volunteer board of directors. We are committed to providing quality care in a home-like atmosphere. Sabine Oaks Home is classified as a large Type B facility by the state.
The Sabine Oaks residence is a one-story brick structure that meets the life safety code requirements. We have a monitored smoke and fire alarm system as well as a fire sprinkler. Sabine Oaks Home is 2 minutes away from the nearest fire station.
Additional features at Sabine Oaks Home include a front porch with rocking chairs, a beauty shop, and an attractive patio. There is also a walking path, a garden for outdoor activities, and an electronic gate for security.
Residents enjoy spacious rooms that can be personalized with furnishings from home. A large well-appointed living room is available as well as a smaller family room where relatives can visit. Comfort and well being of the residents are primary concerns of both board and staff. Every effort is made to help new residents make a satisfactory adjustment. The company of other residents and volunteer interests are important benefits of the home. Every effort is made to maintain a home-like atmosphere to make our home your home.
