About the Gardens
Welcome to the Gardens of Richardson, this area’s premier community for luxury retirement and extended care services. The Gardens of Richardson is located in the heart of the North Central Dallas area, only minutes from Plano, Addison, Garland and the Park Cities.
The Gardens opened in 1988 and offers a choice of Living Options to address the needs retirement-age residents by providing residential personal care suites and an intermediate skilled nursing center on a separate floor.

Ridgecrest Retirement Center offers three living options - Independent Living (apartments), Assisted Living and our Nursing Center for those with for those requiring greater assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and or medical intervention. Please review the table below to assist you in deciding which level of care is necessary to meet your needs.
Assisted Living
Enjoy gracious assisted living in a quality driven environment. Residents in Assisted Living need to be mentally and physically capable of safely performing certain Activities of Daily Living.
Minimum Physical / Mental Criteria:
•Basic personal hygiene
•Dine independently with minimal set up assistance
•Physical and mentally non- threatening to oneself or others
•Manage ones own continence care
•Oriented to surroundings
Floor plans available:
(Private and semi-private rooms available with both floor plans)
•Residential Studio
•Residential Suite
Amenities:
•Medication management
•Nurse Supervision
•Residential suites are bright, spacious, and thoughtfully designed
•Basic cable service provided in every apartment
•Refrigerator with freezer and microwave available
•Residents may furnish their own suites for a more personalized living environment
•Linens and bedding provided
•Daily maid service and personal laundry service
•Wait staffed dining providing three well balanced meals plus snacks daily
•Special diets accommodated
•Medical assistance available 24 hours a day with a Medical Director on staff•Planned Activities inside and outside of the Facility

•Scheduled Transportation
•After-hours security personnel
•Easy month-to-month rental- no long term lease is ever required of our residents
